Q: What can/can’t I bring inside the gates?

A full list of what you can and cannot bring into the festival can be found at sfoutsidelands.com/festival-info/entry.

NOTE: We have a new bag policy! Outside Lands is requesting that fans bring CLEAR bags, or no bags, when attending the festival. There will be an expedited entrance line for fans carrying no bag or clear bags.

With the extensive security measures that are necessary to keep our festival safe, bringing a regular bag or backpack will result in a delayed entrance and longer lines.

Q: Is the festival handicap accessible?

Yes. Please read our full access guide found at: sfoutsidelands.com/festival-info/access. We strive to make Golden Gate Park as ADA-friendly as possible, including handicap parking, raised viewing areas, and wheelchair-friendly walkways.

Q: How can I stay hydrated at the festival?

There are water refill stations provided by CamelBak located throughout the festival. Play your part by bringing a reusable container for free refills to stay hydrated all weekend.

Q: Do vendors accept debit/credit cards?

All food, beer and merchandise stands will take wristband, credit card and cash payments. This year, you can use your wristband as your digital wallet. You can add funds to your account at a physical Top-up Station located throughout the site (see map), or by using your mobile device with the official festival app. Pro tip - enable the "auto top-up” feature so you only have to Top-Up once! Once your account is topped-up, you’re ready to use your Bison Bucks to sip on wine and dine on the tastiest treats available – it’s quick and easy!”

Wine Lands and Cocktail Magic are cashless only zones and will accept wristband payments exclusively.

Q: IS OUTSIDE LANDS ALL AGES?

Outside Lands is an all ages event and does not require a minimum age to attend. In addition, we do not require parental supervision for underage patrons, however, we would like to clarify that the safety and overall well-being of our festival goers is our highest priority. Each year we strive to make Outside Lands a safe and unforgettable experience for each and every attendee.

Q: DO CHILDREN GET IN FOR FREE?

Children under the age of 2 do not need a wristband to get into the festival.

Q: HOW CAN I GET TO THE FESTIVAL?

Parking is extremely limited around Golden Gate Park. For your convenience, Outside Lands is proud to offer a pre-paid shuttle service from the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in the heart of San Francisco to the south entrance of Outside Lands in Golden Gate Park. The shuttles are coach style buses that offer a comfortable ride to and from the festival each day. Shuttles begin running each day at 11AM and run continuously all day with limited coverage from 5-8PM. Last shuttle leaves the festival site at 11:30PM on Friday and Saturday and 11PM on Sunday.

The cost of the 3-DAY Shuttle Pass is $48.00 and does not include admission to the festival. You can buy a Shuttle Pass here: http://www.sfoutsidelands.com/festival-info/travel-accommodations#getting-to-the-park

Lyft is the official ridesharing partner of Outside Lands. New users, use code OUTSIDELANDS16 for $10 off each of your first two rides! Click Here.

Q: CAN I BRING IN MEDICAL PRESCRIPTIONS?

You may bring in medical prescriptions as long as your name is clearly on the prescription label and you have an ID. Names on the prescription must match the ID.

Q: CAN I SELL 1 DAY OF MY 3-DAY PASS?

For your 3-day pass, you will only receive ONE ticket (in wristband form) that you will wear each day to grant you access into the festival. Thus, if you choose to sell your 3-day ticket, you must sell all three days. This is due to the tickets being in wristband form. It cannot be removed once put on, and any loose wristbands will be confiscated. Any wristbands that have been tampered with will be void and you will not be given access to the festival.
