About FOB Kitchen
FOB Kitchen will be opening in Oakland June 2018, offering a modern take on Filipino dishes and curated drinks inspired by the islands.
Chef Janice Dulce was never classically trained, but has always had passion for food and cooking. She recognized that there was a lack of Filipino restaurants in the SF Bay Area that shared her passion for using sustainable meats and organic ingredients and from that, FOB Kitchen was born. FOB Kitchen is a queer woman owned restaurant with Janice creating the menu and her wife, Brandi running front of house operations. They began in May of 2015 as a once a week pop-up and are anticipating the opening of their first brick and mortar this summer. FOB Kitchen has been recognized in articles by The SF Chronicle, Eater SF, Bon Apetit, Compound Butter, and Afar magazines. They serve up dishes such as pork adobo, house-made spam and tocino, hand rolled lumpia, and vegan pancit, all of which are made from scratch right in house. FOB Kitchen has since expanded to participate in local festivals, and are super excited to participate in Outside Lands, a world renowned festival in their own backyard.
