Sataysfied started from working on the streets of the Mission in San Francisco. At the time founder, Feldo Nartapura, had been recently laid-off in the economic downturn of 2008. Unemployed and struggling, he decided to make ends meet by selling food on the streets. The delicious, authentic Indonesian satay recipes were a hit and well-received by the San Francisco community.
Feldo decided to apply for the Off the Grid market at Fort Mason, and with some luck, he got in! Another break came when he was invited to participate in San Francisco’s world famous music festival, Outside Lands.
Sataysfied has now transitioned to catering amazing start-ups throughout the Bay Area. They have served over 100,000 meals throughout the years and are happy to feed and fuel the coders, admins, founders and innovators of Silicon Valley. Not to mention all the private parties they cater for the citizens of the Bay Area!
