You may bring in medical prescriptions as long as your name is clearly on the prescription label and you have a valid ID. Names on the prescription must match your valid ID.

We strive to make Golden Gate Park as ADA-friendly as possible, including handicap parking, raised viewing areas, and wheelchair-friendly walkways. For more information or special requests, please email

If you are requesting a Sign Language Interpreter, please make your requests at least 30 days in advance of the festival dates to ensure availability and to allow for adequate preparation. We will attempt to arrange an interpreter on shorter notice, but cannot guarantee availability.

There are water refill stations located throughout the festival. Play your part by bringing a reusable container for free refills to stay hydrated all weekend.

Outside Lands partners with some of the best restaurants and food trucks the San Francisco Bay Area has to offer. Find a full list of vendors and menus on your mobile app or at Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options will be available.

All food, beer and merchandise stands will take credit card, ApplePay and cash payments.

Program guides will be handed out upon entry into the festival (until supplies last). They will also be available at the Info Booth in the Polo Field near Beer Lands. Want to go paperless? All information in the program guide is also available on your mobile app.

Plan out your day at the Park. The full lineup will be located on your mobile app, on the website, and in your program guide. A large daily schedule will be available to view at the Info Booth in the Polo Field near Beer Lands.

Outside Lands is not a camping festival and you cannot sleep in Golden Gate park or your vehicle. No exceptions.

In general, re-entry is not allowed. You may enter the festival gates once each day. However, if you absolutely must leave the festival and need to return the same day, you must speak with a Supervisor at any festival entrance/exit BEFORE LEAVING to be scanned out.

Outside Lands is an all ages event and does not require a minimum age to attend. In addition, we do not require parental supervision for underage patrons, however, we would like to emphasize that the safety and well-being of our festival goers is our highest priority. We strive to make Outside Lands a safe and unforgettable experience for each and every attendee.

Children under the age of 2 do not need a wristband to get into the festival.

Travel & Transportation

Parking is extremely limited around Golden Gate Park. For your convenience, Outside Lands is proud to offer a pre-paid shuttle service from the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in the heart of San Francisco to the south entrance of Outside Lands in Golden Gate Park. The shuttles are coach style buses that offer a comfortable ride to and from the festival each day. Shuttles begin running each day at 11AM and run continuously all day with limited coverage from 5-8PM. Last shuttle leaves the festival site at 11:30PM on Friday and Saturday and 11PM on Sunday.

The cost of the 3-DAY Shuttle Pass is $48.00 and does not include admission to the festival. You can buy a Shuttle Pass here.

In an effort to reduce traffic and our carbon footprint, Outside Lands and FestDrive are proud to offer bus service to and from the festival out of Oakland, Palo Alto, San Jose, Mill Valley, and Sacramento. We know that driving can be stressful and troublesome so leave that up to us; sit back, and relax on a shuttle to Outside Lands!

Buses will run on three days. Friday, August 10 – Saturday, August 11 – Sunday, August 12 – with convenient pick up times to get you to the festival.
