Introducing Outside Lands Artists in Residence (AIR)

Outside Lands is a uniquely Bay Area blend of music, food and culture in Golden Gate Park. We’re proud to extend the same spirit of creativity and discovery to visual art with our new Artists In Residence (AIR) series. 

AIR brings together Bay Area artists to transform the festival grounds through ambitious new commissions, murals and site-responsive installations. Invited artists will create original works that transform the festival grounds into a place of gathering, exploration, participation and play.

This year’s inaugural residents are Maria Alejandra Guzmán Capron and Oliver Hawk Holden. We are excited to create meaningful support for these and future local artists while introducing their work to one of the largest public audiences in the region.
