In an exciting build up to the tenth edition of the festival, the seventh annual Summer Pairings Series returns! Think of it as the appetizer to the feast that is Outside Lands, and a way to familiarize with several of its finest food and drink personalities. This year, the Japanese street food masters at Nombe head over to Harmonic Brewing, while Rootdown Wine Cellars pays a visit to Sorrel for a Tasting of Tomatoes, Rosés, and Nouveau Reds.
Harmonic Beer and Nombe, maker of the original Nombe Ramenburger®, will riff off one another in an evening too delicious to miss. The Joe Cohen Show will set the mood with live funk, and Nombe will serve Teriyaki Stout Ribs made with Harmonic’s Cold-Pressed Stout, Avocado Fries with Serrano Aioli, and Japanese Poutine. Guests can choose any beer they would like from Harmonic’s full menu, including pours that will be onsite at Outside Lands itself: King For A Day IPA and Neon Shades Kettle Sour. The event is free and open to the public but guests are encouraged to RSVP via Joe Cohen Show Live! on Facebook. Menu items will be priced a la carte and range from $8-10.
