Take a Greyhound Bus to Outside Lands. The Greyhound station in San Francisco connects with other public transportation options to Outside Lands.


With extremely limited parking inside the Park and in the surrounding neighborhoods, we strongly encourage you to take public or alternate means of transportation. People with mobility disabilities should read the Access Info Guide regarding the most accessible way to enter the festival.

There is no overnight parking allowed inside of Golden Gate Park, and camping in the city of San Francisco is prohibited (San Francisco Park Code, Article 3, Section 3.12). Camping, glass containers, alcohol and drugs are prohibited at Ocean Beach.


Bill Graham Civic Auditorium Shuttles

Parking is extremely limited around Golden Gate Park. For your convenience, Outside Lands is proud to offer a pre-paid shuttle service from the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in the heart of San Francisco to the south entrance of Outside Lands in Golden Gate Park. The shuttles are coach style buses that offer a comfortable ride to and from the festival each day. Shuttles begin running each day at 11AM and run continuously all day with limited coverage from 5-8PM. Last shuttle leaves the festival site one hour after the music ends each night. The cost of the 3-DAY Shuttle Pass is $48.00 and does not include admission to the festival.

Regional Shuttle

In an effort to reduce traffic and our carbon footprint, Outside Lands Festival and FestDrive are proud to offer bus service to and from the festival out of Oakland, Palo Alto, San Jose, Mill Valley, and Sacramento. We know that driving can be stressful and troublesome so leave that up to us; sit back, and relax on a shuttle to Outside Lands Festival! Buses will run on three days. Friday, August 10 – Saturday, August 11 – Sunday, August 12 – with convenient pick up times to get you to the festival. Buses will have a designated shuttle drop-off/pick-up location within Golden Gate Park and close proximity to the South Gate Festival entrance!

Scheduled shuttles will depart on all three days at 11AM and 3PM, you will select your departure time when checking out. RETURN: Coming home buses stage starting at 9PM and leave when full, with the final bus leaving no later than 1 hour post final act. You are guaranteed a seat each night 1 hour after the conclusion of final act.

BART & AC Transit Transbay Express service the greater Bay Area (North, South and East). Depending on where you are coming from, take these suggested routes:

Coming from the East Bay

Option 1: Take BART to Civic Center Station (rates vary from location)
From Civic Center Station, transfer to the Muni N Judah line to 34th Avenue and Judah Street ($2.75 cash, $2.50 Clipper or Muni Mobile)

Walk north on 34th Avenue to Golden Gate Park
Enter the Park

Option 2: Take the AC Transit Transbay Express or F Line across the Bay Bridge
From Transbay Terminal walk to Embarcadero Station on Market Street
Take Muni Line N to 34th Avenue and Judah Street ($2.75 cash, $2.50 Clipper or Muni Mobile)
Walk north on 34th Avenue to Golden Gate Park

Coming from the North Bay

Take Golden Gate Transit Bus #70/71 to Golden Gate Bridge Toll Plaza.
Transfer to MUNI route 28 to Daly City.
Exit the bus at Fulton and walk west to the festival entrance.

Coming from the South Bay

Take Caltrain to San Francisco Station (the end of the line)
Note: The last southbound Caltrain train on Sunday departs San Francisco station at 9:37 pm. There are no additional services, please plan accordingly.

Leaving Outside Lands:

If leaving on the southside of the park, take N Judah trains to Civic Center BART. If leaving on the northside of the park take the 5 Fulton Local or 5X Fulton Express. Boarding is on Fulton Avenue at 36th and 30th avenues.


Uber is the Official Ride of Outside Lands. When you're ready to head home, exit the grounds before requesting your ride and follow the signs to the designated pick up areas:

Northside: 30th Ave & Balboa Street
Southside: 36th Ave between Irving Street and Judah Street

Please note that drivers cannot pickup or drop-off riders on Fulton Street or Lincoln Way.

VALET IT – Secure your bike in style. Outside Lands valet bike parking is located above Hellman Hollow (enter at intersection of Transverse and Overlook Drive). Valet is open each day of the festival from 10am and closes one hour after the music ends each night.

PARK IT – There is additional “self park” bike parking along JFK from Transverse down to Stow Lake and on MLK (near the South Gate) for you to park and lock your own bike. Remember to bring your own lock! Outside Lands is not responsible for any damaged or stolen bicycles parked inside Golden Gate Park.

If you're entering the Park from the south (Sunset District), enter at 25th Avenue and Lincoln Avenue. Turn left, then bear right onto Middle Drive to access the South Gate Venue Entrance.

If you're entering the Park from the north (Richmond District), enter at 25th Avenue and Fulton Street and walk along the pedestrian path to enter at the Main Entrance. You can also enter at 36th Avenue and Fulton Street and walk up John F. Kennedy Drive towards Lindley Meadow. The Main Entrance will be on your right.
